At step 4 the welcome screen should not be visible as it has been disabled previously. Well, this explains how common this issue is on Mac devices. The application should not crash at step 3 and should present the right click menu. Up next, click the Firewall Options and deselect Block all incoming connections. Today it stopped crashing on right click and started crashing if I selected 'File > New' whilst this document was open. This happened many times on both days I tried to work on the file last week. I have a MacBook Air have no problem with my same account. Can I manually add this extension Reinstall ,not clean install, or force quit finder wont help. Open new document from the welcome screen. Dropbox Finder Integration option is missing, but I can see OneDrive Finder Integration option at the same place.Open backup file -> interface is not responding.Right click on layer in layers window -> application crashes.I can't recreate this with other files either. I have to find the Inkscape welcome screen (which appears regardless of the show at launch checkbox preference) and open a new document before the document I initially opened becomes responsive.
I thought I'd report it anyway, but I understand if not much can be done to debug it.Ī somewhat strange, secondary problem related to this file is that, whenever I open it by double clicking the file in macOS Finder, the interface is completely unresponsive (but the program is not 'Not Responding'). I've tried opening other files in Inkscape to see if it was a reproducable bug but haven't been able to recreate it.
It displays a message saying that an internal error has occurred and has to close, but it does save a recovery copy of the file. It has developed a weird problem whereby it has started crashing constantly, and I seem to have narrowed it down to it happening if I try to perform any right click command. svg file that I created in Inkscape and am currently editing. When attempting to right click anywhere within the UI, the application crashes.
